The 70-kilo concrete and metal sculpture, titled "The Giantess," was created in reference to one of surrealist Leonora Carrington's works. The sculpture shows the leg of a giantess taking her space without asking for permissions. She takes a corner of the Wallanlagen between Kunsthalle and Weser. Explicitly in this place, the giantess walks through the barely lit park as a protector and companion. It is her footprint that reminds us that someone must have been there before the visitor.
